Sudden tall flames shoot up from below, often burning food or creating smoke.

GAS-SMELL
Gas leak detected

Propane and natural gas contain mercaptan, an additive with a distinct rotten egg or sulfur odor. Any detection of this smell warrants immediate action.

LOW-FLAME
Weak or low flame

Flames are noticeably lower than normal, even at the highest knob setting.

NO-GAS
No gas reaching burners
